I was planning on using a PM599C-LH and a Airmar 33-969-01 Raymarine junction box in a custom pocket mount. Will this combination work properly? There is no Raymarine part number for the Pocket mount version on your site? The transducer will be attached to a CP 470 at first then a 570 soon after.Could you please just email me the response.Thank you,Capt.Mike. deto806@gmail

Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Mike,

While we believe that the subject transducer used with Airmar's Airmar CHIRP Transducer Junction Box featuring a Raymarine connector may function with the CP470/CP570 CHIRP Sounder Modules, please note that Raymarine only tests the 1kW-3kW CHIRP transducers found here in conjunction with its CP470/CP570 CHIRP Sounder Modules, RVX-1000, and Axiom Pro RVX MFDs. If considering use of an Airmar branded transducer requiring an Airmar CHIRP Transducer Junction Box, then it would be recommended that Gemeco, Inc. (Airmar’s US distributor (803 693 0777)) be contacted to verify compatibility before proceeding. Gemeco should be also be consulted regarding the sense resistor setting within the junction box. Please note that while this is a transducer which is capable of outputting 3kW, the maximum power output of the CP570 is 2kW.
