Marpa and a Fast Heading Sensor
I have an eS MFD and the new Quantum Radar. Networked to them I have sailing instruments and an AIS.

Do I need a Fast Heading Sensor in order to get Marpa?

My AP is an old Simrad unit and is not networked to the new units.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum TributeJ42,

Yes. The MARPA feature requires that the system be interfaced to a gyro stabilized 10Hz heading data source. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject.
