When an analog instrument has been interfaced to an iTC-5 Analog Instrument Transducer Converter or instrument pod(s), it is necessary that the SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 backbone to additionally include an i70 or ST70 Multifunction Instrument Display. Raymarine Multifuction Displays (ex. A/C/E-Series Classic MFDs, C/E-Series Widescreen MFDs, a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs, etc.) are not designed to support mastership of instruments to include the calibration, offsets, alarms, etc. associated with instrument transducers. It is the function of the i70 and ST70 MFIDs to support these functions.
