RV-220 Transducers
How close can the RV-220 Transducer be installed to the CPT-120 Transducer?

Does the RV-220 Transducer need to be installed in a pair?

My boat has a 20 degree deadrise. If I install a RV-220S, will I only get side scan on one side of the boat or only effective in deeper water?

RE: RV-220 Transducers
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum capecodboater,

Q1. How close can the RV-220 Transducer be installed to the CPT-120 Transducer?
A1. Raymarine has performed any testing which would lead to a recommendation on this subject. That said, when interfaced to a system featuring an Axiom RV MFD, the RV-220 Transducer set is designed to support all of the fisfinder sonar imagery features which had been supported by the CPT-120 and CPT-200 ... and additionally support 3D sonar imagery. In this case, it would be recommended that the CPT-100 be removed from the vessel and that it be replaced by the RV-220 Transducer set.

Q2. Does the RV-220 Transducer need to be installed in a pair?
A2. Yes.

Q3. My boat has a 20 degree deadrise. If I install a RV-220S, will I only get side scan on one side of the boat or only effective in deeper water?
A3. Please see the response to Q2 ... the RV220P/S transducers are designed and tested to be installed in pairs.
