C90W Connectivity to Standard Horizon MX2200 Matrix
Saw a thread on old forum regarding an E series. I would like to know which RM Cables, parts, are needed to interface my C90W MFD to my Standard Horizon MX2200 Matrix AIS/DSC VHF?
The Std Horz does not support NEMA2000 , but will support the 0183.
Is this the correct info needed to order parts from RayMarine?

To connect a NMEA 0183 device to a Raymarine STng network you need:

1. ActiSense NGW-1 (converts NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000),
2. Raymarine A06045 cable (adapts NMEA 2000 to STng)
3. Raymarine STng backbone T (connects A06045 into backbone)
4. Raymarine STng backbone extension cable (enable new T insertion into the backbone)You won't require another backbone terminator, as the network already has two. (You may have to shift the existing terminator though, if you attach the new device to the end of the original backbone, rather than insert it in the middle.

you need a Seatalk NG to NMEA 2000 conversion cable, a NMEA Tee, wire and terminator cap.
Thank you in advance for your help.

RE: C90W Connectivity to Standard Horizon MX2200 Matrix
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Fish220sr,

If a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng backbone has not already been installed onboard the vessel, then a simple backbone may be constructed from the following components:
- Actisense NGW-1-ISO-AIS
- A06064 SeaTalkng 5-Way Connector
- (2) A06031 SeaTalkng Terminators ... to be installed with the 5-Way Connector's blue backbone sockets
- A06049 SeaTalkng Power Cable ... to be connected to one of the white spur sockets of the 5-Way Connector
- An appropriate length of SeaTalkng Spur Cable to connect the MFD's SeaTalkng Spur Socket to one of the white spur sockets of the 5-Way Connector
- A06045 0.4m SeaTalkng Spur to DeviceNet (F) Adapter Cable or A06045 1m SeaTalkng Spur to DeviceNet (F) Adapter Cable ... to connect the Actisense NGW-1-ISO-AIS to of the white spur sockets of the 5-Way Connector

Should there already be a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng backbone onboard installed on the vessel, and should the MFD already be interfaced as a spur to this backbone, and you need an additional spur socket to accomodate the Actisense NGW-1-ISO-AIS, then
- the backbone terminator would be disconnected from the end of the SeaTalkng backbone closest to the third party VHF Radio/AIS Receiver and installed within one of the blue backbone sockets of an additional A06064 SeaTalkng 5-Way Connector or A06028 SeaTalkng T-Piece which will be installed within 5m of the third party VHF Radio/AIS Receiver.
- the NGW-1-ISO-AIS will be interfaced to an A06045 0.4m SeaTalkng Spur to DeviceNet (F) Adapter Cable or A06045 1m SeaTalkng Spur to DeviceNet (F) Adapter Cable which in turn will be interfaced to the white spur socket of the added SeaTalkng 5-Way Connector or SeaTalkng T-Piece
- an appropriate length of SeaTalkng Backbone Cable will be used to connect the remaining blue backbone socket of the added SeaTalkng 5-Way Connector or SeaTalkng T-Piece will to the vacated blue backbone socket of the original SeaTalkng backbone.
