[DG11] RS150 Antenna
Having read about a potential problem with the 2019 GPS Rollover I am thinking of installing a RS150 antenna to my C140W MFD. Is it a straightfoward connection via Seatalk NG and will it solve any potential problems with the rollover?

RE: [DG11] RS150 Antenna
Hi Moonstone

The RS150 is a good choice for the external antenna. Interfacing a Raystar 150 GPS Sensor to the system may be as easy as interfacing the GPS Sensor's spur capable to an unoccupied spur socket within one of the backbone's T-pieces, 5-Way Connectors, SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter, or iTC-5. Should no such unoccupied spur sockets be available, then a spur socket will need to be added to the backbone to accommodate the GPS sensor's spur cable.

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing how a simple backbone may be constructed to interface the Raystar 150 GPS Sensor to a C-Series Widescreen MFD.
Regards

Derek
