Each time that I power up my MFD, it appears that its software is being updated

During boot-up, Raymarine MFD's are designed to check the MFD's memory card reader(s) for the presence of a memory card containing software update files. Should such a memory card be detected within the MFD's reader(s), then the MFD may automatically attempt to install the detected software. Accordingly, should a memory card be used to update either the MFD(s)'s software or that another Raymarine product, then the memory card containing the software update files should be removed from the MFD's memory card reader upon completion of the software update(s).
