RE: GS165 and eS98 network
Firewood,

Q1: I'm waiting on the shipment of my Axiom 7 Rv unit and in the mean time I can plug my DSM300 into my gS165 by using the #A80272 cable. right???
A1. As the Ethernet NETWORK sockets of an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD and HS5 RayNet Network Switch feature RayNet (M) sockets, an A80272 RayNet (M) to SeaTalkhs (M) Adapter would not be used for this application unless it in turn was going to be used with an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. Should the DSM300 be located within 3m of the MFD or HS5 RayNet Network Switch, then an A80276 3m RayNet (F) to SeaTalkhs (M) Adapter would be used to interface the DSM300 to these items.

Q2. Also the Y cable #E66022 is what I'll need for the Axiom to handle both the RV and the P66 if I want to eliminate the DSM300.
A2. No. An A80492 Axiom RV to 25-pin RV & 7-pin CP370/CP300/DSM30/DSM300 Compatible Transducers Y-Cable would be used for this applicaton. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject.
