I70S Digital/Analog Compatibility
Hello and Good Day!

Here is my Raymarine set up on a 38 foot sailboat.
EV-200 autopilot running SeaTalkng on a backbone
ST60 Wind
ST60+Depth
I70s
C-70 MFD at the helm
C-120 MFD at the Nav
AIS running NEMA0183 sentences from a Standard Horizon VHF, the C-120 at the Nav supplies the position (GPS) sentences to the radio and the C-70 at the helm receives the targets at the helm.

I replaced my ST-60 speed with the I70s because the LCD had become blackened out. The device, while hard to read, still works.

The paddle wheel has stopped working and the sea temperature never worked properly.

Here are my questions:
Q1: I understand that the speed paddlewheel is analog so that I would need to purchase an ITC-5 converter to change the analog signal to digital which could be transmitted on the SeaTalkng backbone. Is there new digital version of the paddlewheel that I can purchase and avoid using the ITC-5 converter?

Q2: Can I use the old speed instrument with the NEMA2000 cables to just daisy chain the speed information to the system and will it be readable by the I70s? Presently the analog wind and depth are seen by the I70S.

Q3: Will the AIS display work on the I70S with NEMA0183 protocol that I'm presently using to display targets?
