RE: E120 Classic to C125 3rd gen
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum iimatias,

Am I to understand that you will be replacing the E120 E-Series Classic MFD with a c125 MFD? If so, then please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As SeaTalk is being phased out in favor of SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications and any new product additions will likely feature a SeaTalkng communications interface, it is not considered a best practice to have a SeaTalk bus backfeed power into a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. As the present SeaTalk bus features more than five devices, it would be recommended that the SeaTalk bus be divided into to SeaTalk busses per the referenced FAQ. Each SeaTalk bus will in turn be connected to its own SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter. The SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converters will be interfaced to one another via an an appropriate length of SeaTalkng Backbone Cable.
