Unable to Connect IP Camera to a Seatalkhs Switch
This thread is being posted to obtain input for a solution to connectivity issues with an IP camera, model number IRIS 710.

The camera is connected to a Seatalkhs switch which in turn connects to two e125 MFD’s, neither of which are able to detect the camera. In addition, the green light where the CAT5 Ethernet cable connects does not illuminate green indicating no communication.

One complication is that the disc containing the manufacturer’s IRIS Centre Software intended to communicate to the IRIS 710 camera was damaged precluding the ability to run the software.
The IRIS 710’s Installation and Operation guide states the camera will adopt an IP address provided by the Router / DHCP server.

Question: is the Seatalkhs switch the same thing as a Router / DHCP server and are there any other suggestions to resolve this issue?
