[TG] Advice - Experience with WiFish
Hello All - I used the Wi-Fish feature for the first time via a Dragonfly Pro and it appears to be very useful. It seems to be a means to get much more screen for very few if any dollars. (since I have a tablet laying around).
I would like to see the map + sonar + down scan so I'm thinking of using the tablet for sonar/down scan split screen and the Dragonfly for mapping. If I recall correctly the Wi-Fish does not share the map view, just sonar / down vision. Please share you experiences or ideas for using Wi-Fish, in my case I am bass fishing. For this test I had the tablet connected to my console unit so when at the front I could see the rear transducer image as well as the trolling motor mounted unit on it's screen. I wonder if there is an advantage to leaving it this way? Thanks in advance |
