rapscallion2,

Note: Regarding the system which you have described, an i70/i70S MFID or ST70 MFID must be installed within any system featuring an iTC-5. Should your system already feature one of these MFIDs, then this note may be ignored.

Q1. My question, can I cut the SeaTalk1 press-fit end of a yellow-plug SealTalkNG cable to connect to the Auxiliary Junction Box? What about exposing the bare-wire by cutting the press-fit end of a A06047?
A1. It is certainly possible to cut the plug from either of these cables to permit them then be joined within an Auxiliary Junction Box. However most will simply use a D244 SeaTalk Junction Block for this purpose.
