RE: [CA11] Networking Question
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum PremierPOWER,

When interfacing the Axiom MFD to the radome and to a thermal camera, these products will communicate with one another via an Ethernet network. The parts shown below comprise a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone and would not be applicable to interfacing the Axiom MFD to the radome and to a thermal camera. The MFD would typically be interfaced to the Ray260 via a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone.

Instead, the Axiom MFD to the radome and to a thermal camera will be interfaced to one another via an Ethernet switch, or more specifically via a HS5 RayNet Network Switch (shown below). The MFD and M232 thermal camera will each be interfaced to the HS5 RayNet Network Switch via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. A Digital Radar Cable or Quantum Data Cable will also be be interfaced to the HS5 RayNet Network Switch.
