It is not a 5-way connector with yellow ring (i also don't have any seatalk equipement). I also reconnected the cable a couple of times, although i am not sure if i changed sockets. I will give that a try.
I will also try another cable.

Will probably take a couple of days before i'll be at the boat to test this. I will let you know the result.
