[CA11] C80 MFD and RS130
New here on this forum, and although been on the water on the Great Lakes all my life, I'm new to Raymarine electronics.

I'm realizing that this networking is a bit more complicated than I had originally thought, but learning ton of valuable information on here.

I currently have a C80 MFD, which I use with an RD424 radar scanner. Great combo, and a useful tool when I need it in the fog. This was an easy set up as the scanner cable just plugs into the back of the C80 MFD. However the RS130 GPS antenna I have is not as simple. I know the RS130 uses the Seatalkng language (NMEA 2000), and the C80 display can use Seatalk 1 (NMEA 0183) and Seatalk 2 (NMEA 2000).

My question about getting this set up is, does that RS130 have to be networked through the Seatalk 1 to Seatalkng converter kit, E22158?

Or can I network this through a Seatalkng 5-way connector, CWRE-33175, with a Seatalk 2 to Seatalkng adapter cable, A06048, plugged into the back of my C80 MFD?

I'd appreciate any insight, I'm looking to get this going before my boat goes in the water 5 weeks.

Thanks!
Chris
