Transferring data from retired MFDs to MFDs running LightHouse II / LightHouse 3 software or to Dragonfly displays

Unlike Raymarine's running LightHouse 3 software (ex. Axiom & Axiom Pro MFDs), MFDs running LightHouse II software (a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs (updated with v14.36 or later software)), and Dragonfly displays which support the more universally supported GPX waypoint/route/track file format, the following retired products utilized Raymarine's retired proprietary Archive.FSH waypoint/route/track file format when saving waypoint, route, and track data to a memory card:
- A60/A65 Chartplottter and Chartplotter/Fishfinders
- A-Series Classic MFDs (A50, A50D, A57D, A70, A70D)
- C-Series Classic MFDs (C70, C80, C120)
- E-Series Classic MFDs (E80, E120)
- G-Series System (GPM400)
- C-Series Widescreen MFDs (C90W, C120W, C140W)
- E-Series Widescreen MFDs (E90W, E120W, E140W)
- a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs (v13.37 and earlier)
- Dragonfly displays operating with software prior to v9.40 also utilized Raymarine's retired proprietary Archive.FSH waypoint/route/track file format.
- RayTech Planner / RNS 6.x

Early software for the Dragonfly and a/c/e/gS-Series MFDs, as well as the retired chartplotting products listed above, featured support for waypoint/route/track files created using Raymarine's proprietary Archive.FSH file format. Raymarine's Voyage Planner PC navigational planning software supports this file format as well as the non-proprietary and much more commonly supported GPX waypoint/route/track file format. Should a Dragonfly display or a/c/e/gS-Series MFD be updated with the latest available software update, then these products will instead support GPX formatted waypoint, route, and track files while retaining any waypoint/route/track data stored within their memory. Many third party marine electronics products and navigational software applications also now support GPX file format. In recognition of the now more or less universal support for GPX file format, Raymarine’s FSH to GPX Converter PC application has been recently introduced to support the production of GPX files from Archive.FSH files, thereby providing a quick and easy method for customers to migrate their data from their retired Raymarine MFDs to MFDs running LightHouse II or LightHouse 3 software, or to Dragonfly displays. Raymarine's Voyage Planner and GPS Utility (a third party product) may also be used to produce GPX files from Archive.FSH files as well as to support future waypoint/route planning. GPS Utility is typically recommended for customers needing to produce GPX files from the waypoint/route data stored within files employing third party proprietary file formats or for those needing to review/modify large quantities of waypoint data.

UPDATE: Raymarine has ceased sales of Voyage Planner software through Raymarine's Charts Store and through its dealers. A limited number of boxed copies of the Raymarine Voyager Planner software may be found within dealer inventories. While Raymarine has not yet announced a replacement planning application, it is quite possible that Raymarine may do so in the future. At this time, Navionics is recommending Navigation Planner PC planning software for its customers. Navigation Planner features support for Raymarine product and their waypoint symbol sets.
