Cartography sharing within a network of a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs

When interfaced via an Ethernet (SeaTalkhs/RayNet) network, Raymarine's a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs are designed to share all system data except for NTSC/PAL video inputs to the system. In the case of the latter, the video signal from the NTSC/PAL video source (ex. CAM50, CAM100, DVD Player, satellite TV receiver, etc.) should be interfaced to a video amplifier/splitter (ex. FLIR model 4108996 Video Distribution Amplifier, etc.) As cartography data is shared among networked a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs, a chart card need be present within the memory card reader of only one MFD within a network of MFDs.

Cartography, radar imagery, fishfinder imagery, SiriusXM Satellite Marine Weather, thermal camera control, and IP camera video cannot be shared among a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs which have been interfaced to one another via a SeaTalkng communications backbone.
