RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
mburazor,

The suggested combination of B265LM and B175H CHIRP transducers is not recommended and is supported by the CP470 and CP570. Transducers like the A80050 B175H were originally designed to be installed in pairs (ex. B175H & B175M, B175H & B175L, etc.) using the Paired CHIRP Transducer Y-Cable (A102146) or when installed alone with a single transducer using the Single Operation Cable (A80328). The CP470 and CP570 are designed to sense the IDs of two interfaced transducers. Installation of the two transducers which you have specified would present the CP470 or CP570 with three sense IDs and a sense resistance not conforming to any supported transducers which have been designed to be installed as pairs.

Hi Chuck

thank you for your patience. I would like to go with B175M and B175H-W. Is this combination might be paired with CP 470? If is possible what is Raymarine order number for this pair if is exist or I need to go with separate purchases of both transducers with Y cable?

RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
mburazor,

It is indeed possible to mate both a B175M and B175H-W to the same CP470 or CP570. These transducers are not sold under a single part number (i.e. they will need to be individually purchased) and they are available in 0 degree, 12 degree, and 20 degree tilted element versions. The part numbers for these follow:
- B175M: 0 deg (A80043), 12 deg (A80046), 20 deg (A80049) ... pick one of these based on the deadrise of the hull location where the transducer will be installed
- B175H-W: 0 deg (A80319), 12 deg (A80320), 20 deg (A80321) ... pick one of these based on the deadrise of the hull location where the transducer will be installed

RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
So to summarise all this. I am able to connect any of these transducers in pair (B175) with CP470 or CP570 as long I am using proper connection. If I wan to use B175H and B175H-W that pair will be supported as well?
If B175H and B175H-W are supported in pair is ti going to be any interference since both of them are working on same frequencies?

RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
mburazor,

Please refer to my last response ... one of the of the B175M transducers will be purchased based on the deadrise of the hull location where the transducer will be installed. Additionally, one of the of the B175H-W transducers will be purchased based on the deadrise of the hull location where the transducer will be installed. These transducers will not interfere with one another.

RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
Thank you Chuck,

I asked about two High CHIRP transducers not M and H. I asked about B175H and B175H-W. Due to same frequency range for H CHIRP is it possible this two to be paired.
This is my last question about this subject, I promise. :)

RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
mburazor,

The combination of two high frequency transducers can potentially create interference if they are operated simultaneously. May I ask what is your intended application?

RE: CP470 and Airmar TM265LH
I am planning to use Wide for targeting fish and I need narrow cone for structure and I was wondering if H can work paired with HW. Looks like that can not so most probably will go with MH-W pair.
