source of Log data
my ship mileage log seems to be updated by the distance traveled as recorded by the water speed sensor. When the sensor is clogged, no mileage is recorded. Can this be changed to use the GPS distance instead of the water speed?

RE: source of Log data
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum KShur,

Q: Can this be changed to use the GPS distance instead of the water speed?
A: No. While the Log, Trip, and Speed data items are exclusively designed to report distance and speed associated with a speed through water sensor, the GPS Log, GPS Trip 1/2/3/4, and SOG data items are exclusively designed to be populated from GPS data. Accordingly, you may want to consider configuring the MFD and/or i70 MFID to display the GPS Log, GPS Trip, and SOG data items instead of the Log, Trip, and Speed data items.
