Custom datapage save?
From within the Data application, if a new/custom datapage is created will it be saved upon power down and/or the device being disconnected from power altogether?

If it matters I'm running eS127/128 with software version 17.45.

Thank you.

RE: Custom datapage save?
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ryan,

Once a custom page has been successfully created, it will be persistent within the MFD's page option unless one of the following occurs:
- the MFD has been commanded to Reset its Homescreen pages (HOME->CUSTOMIZE->HOMESCREEN->RESET)
- the MFD's software is updated
- the MFD has been commanded to Restore Settings from a prior settings backup (HOME->MY DATA->IMPORT/EXPORT->RESTORE SETTINGS)
- the MFD has been commanded to perform a System Settings Reset (HOME->SET-UP->MAINTENANCE->SYSTEM SETTINGS RESET) or System Settings and Data Reset (HOME->SET-UP->MAINTENANCE->SYSTEM SETTINGS AND DATA RESET)
- the MFD has suffered a failure of its memory ... the MFD will need to be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

RE: Custom datapage save?
So there is no way to save custom data pages/screens? I'll need to recreate them all in any of those situations including a software update? Very unfortunate if that is the case.

Thanks
Ryan

RE: Custom datapage save?
Ryan,

Per my prior response, once a page has been has been successfully created/customized, it will be persistent between power ON/OFF cycles. Similarly, changes to the data items displayed within a Data Panel will be persistent between power ON/OFF cycle. As page sets are shared between the system's MFDs, it is recommended that such changes be performed on the Data Master MFD to ensure persistence.

Section 4.2 Save and restore items of the LightHouse II Release 17 Operating Instructions identifies the system settings which may be backed up prior to a software update or System Settings Reset and then later restored. Changes to pages and Data application panels accomplished through Editing a page or Editing a Data application panel are included within the customizations and configuration settings which are backed up.
