System Updates on C140W
I have a new-to-me boat with a C140W and Radome system that appears to have not had system firmware/software updates in years. I'd like to update the system as much as possible. Below are the version numbers and dates for the system. How current can I get the systems to be? And can it be done through the compact flash dock?

Product Name C140W
Product Family C Series
Product ID D689
Serial Number E62115 0XXXXXX
World Map Version 20090226
Cartography Version Oct-10(US)
Cartography Update Limit Sep-12
App Version v2.20
Bootcode Version v1.05
Baseboard Version v3.10
App Build Time Tue Dec 7 15:24:42 2010
Internal GPS Version GSW3..5.0_3.5.00.00-C24P2.00

I'm assuming these numbers are for the C140W only. How do I pull the system make and versions/dates for the Radome?

There are some other quirks I'm still working out but I'll post those in another thread.

Thanks.
Ed

RE: System Updates on C140W
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ed,

The history of software releases for the C-Series Widescreen MFDs, installation instructions, and download link may be found here. The final release of C-Series Widescreen MFD software, v2.35, was released in July 2012. Your MFD has v2.20 software installed within its memory. Raymarine has release no software updates for Digital/HD Digital Radomes. Unlike the latest generation of Raymarine MFDs, the C-Series Widescreen MFDs did not feature support for polling the its interfaces to list the versions of software installed within devices which have been interfaced to the MFD via its NMEA 0183, SeaTalk, or SeaTalkng communications interfaces.
