Axiom 9 - will it match and what model

I currently have a Raymarine a78 MFD, with radar, chirp ... I want to add a second monitor to the system. The Axiom 9 would fit my dash without issue, and I really like the interface. Can I integrate the Axiom? do I need to upgrade my transducer to see full benefits? and do I need something to create a network so the Axiom and the a78 can utilize the radar, and transducer?

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing interfacing an Axiom MFD with an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD. In order to utilize the RealVision 3Dâ„¢ Sonar features within the system, the system must include an Axiom RV MFD and a RealVision 3Dâ„¢ Transducer. As the RealVision 3Dâ„¢ Transducer will support CHIRP (conical) sonar, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3Dâ„¢ sonar features, it may be installed in place of the transducer which is currently interfaced to the a78 MFD.
