RE: rudder limit, set uup issue
Did some of the tests tonight and the readings were all over the place. First test with red and green was a .7 but was still moving. The blue and red the number kept moving without the transducer moving. I hooked the unit back up and originally read 11 degrees to starboard with motors center and transducer centered. I ran the dockside wizard and the transducer failed task. After dockside wizard the transducer was off the scale to starboard with motors centered again so the transducer is changing its readings during the test.

RE: rudder limit, set uup issue
Eric,

Did you verify that the alignment tab (located on the opposite side of the rotary rudder reference transducer's arm) was aligned with the alignment tab on the transducer's base when the rudder was centered? If not, then the rudder reference transducer's installation will need to be adjusted accordingly. Should you have done so, and the problem persists, then it would be recommended that rudder reference transducer which had initially been installed for use with the original autopilot be replaced with that provided with the ACU-200. Should the problem persist thereafter, then it would indicate a problem with the ACU-200 necessitating that it be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

It was centered and I am not sure if this one was replaced or not....I know I ordered the kit, with 2 C125 and radar. All of the units warranty information was submitted online and you guys should have it.

RE: rudder limit, set uup issue
Eric,

Warranty information would not typically include data concerning whether the rudder reference transducer was replaced ... you may want to check any parts left behind by the installer. However, should the autopilot have been installed by a Certified Raymarine Installer or Certified Raymarine OEM boat manufacturer, then the installed products would carry three years of onboard warranty. If still within warranty (recommend contacting Raymarine's Warranty Team if uncertain (warranty@raymarine.com) ... unfortunately technical support does access to warranty, sales, and repair records) it would be recommended that the installer be contacted to correct the problem with the autopilot.
