Axiom 9 - STNG Converter issue
Hello,

Just installed two Axiom 9's replacing E80's and also added the Quantum unit. Config both 9's into existing HS Switch, same with Quantum. Both 9's, the one at the nav station and the one at the helm run the N2K port into NG hubs. I have one STNG Converter to pickup ST60 W,S,D (Tridata)plus some st60's displays, two ST60 Graphics displays.

Have Evo 200, SR150 (does not work yet) AIS 650, Raystar 130, P70, I70 on NG Bus.

When i look for data sources in the config file on the Axiom I get a STNG error when it searches for the depth, "Mannually selecting source of depth is not supported when the following devices are on the network: E22158-Seatalk-STNG-Converter S/N 0241067". Then blocks out any attempt to manually pick up GPS, etc.

???

RE: Axiom 9 - STNG Converter issue
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Arrowhead,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As LH3 does not yet support updating the software within peripheral Raymarine products, it will be necessary to update the ST-STng Converter's software via another model of MFD having a SeaTalkng communications interface (ex. you E-Series Classic MFD). Altenatively, the ST-STng Converter's software may be updated by a Certified Raymarine Installer, a Raymarine Dealer (recommend calling the dealer in advance), or Raymarine’s Product Repair Center.
