ST2000+ broken gaskets
I found some broken gasket parts inside our ST2000+.
Is one of them from the pushrods exit end of the unit?
Appears as though the other one might be a bushing from behind the largest gear on the belt/gear arrangement?
Are these parts available?
The unit was failing due to these parts falling underneath the internal compass gimbal, restricting its movement.

RE: ST2000+ broken gaskets
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Maluhia,

Raymarine does not consider the ST2000+ to be an end user repairable item. Accordingly, internal parts and repair instructions are not available. It is recommended that the ST2000+ be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

RE: ST2000+ broken gaskets
Thanks Chuck.
Removed gasket shrapnel, unit tested o.k. in 5 foot waves and 18-20 kits of wind in AUTOmfor an hour or so. It did experience a power interruption, but immediately turned back on in STANDBY mode. (it was powering off before after a few minutes of use, and not coming back on)
