Import / Export via CF Card
I have an E90w hybrid touchscreen. I am not able to import or export .fsh files via my ScanDisk 16GB CF Card.

The chartplotter in not recognizing the .fsh files on the card. Nor it is not saving routes/waypoints from the plotter to the card.

The external .fsh files are created with VoiagePlanner.

There is nothing wrong with the CF Card. I have used it to upgrade the plotter's software (to v2.65). Also, the plotter writes the following file to the card when it is inserted: ESeriesSetup.ffs.

Your support will be appreciated.

RE: Import / Export via CF Card
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Viben,

Please verify that the capacity of the CF memory card does not exceed 32GB ... I have noted that you have indicated that the card's capacity is 16GB. Should this criteria have been satisfied, then the most common cause for a Widescreen MFD to be unable to export waypoint/route/track data to CF memory card would be a failure of the MFD's memory card reader. The operational state of the MFD's memory card reader would typically be verified by attempting to save or retrieve waypoint/route/track data. Alternatively, operational state of the MFD's memory card reader may be determined by inserting a Navionics chart card into the MFD's memory card reader and then attempting to access tide or current data. If unsuccessful, then the MFD's memory card reader would be deemed to have suffered a failure necessitating that it be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

Should the MFD's memory card reader be determined to be operational and should the CF memory card's capacity be no more than 32GB, then it is possible that the MFD's waypoint/route/track memory has been corrupted and will need to be cleared out via a Factory Reset Operation. It should then be possible to create a few test waypoints within the MFD and to once again test the MFD's ability to export this data to the CF memory card. Should the problem persist, then it would appear that the CF memory card is not compatible with your MFD and it would be recommended that a CF memory card from another manufacturer be obtained.
