(DG) EV-300 control unit mounting
The cover of the EV-300 control unit states mounting arrows up to indicate the unit should be mounted to a vertical surface.
What would happen if the control unit was mounted horizontally, would this affect performance etc?

RE: (DG) EV-300 control unit mounting
Hi Offshore Dave

Thank you for your enquiry

The EV sensor (the black disc part with the green LED) needs to be mounted in a horizontal plane for the internal sensors to operate correctly, see below

The sensor itself can be mounted flat onto a horizontal surface without using the white bracket, or the sensor can be mounted onto a vertical surface using the bracket to ensure the sensor remains horizontal.

Regards
