Ray 70 audio
Audio in this unit quit.I was reconnecting hsilet speaker.
Remote mix audio works.
I was connecting it to 8 ohm speaker shared with Raytheon 430 jailer.
Also digital display on remote 1020, 1021, 1022,1023. Back to 24.
Is this the new designation? I thought I read something about that.

RE: Ray 70 audio
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum olegreg,

It is recommended that the Ray70 be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced for the reported audio problem. The accompanying letter should indicate that you had simultaneously connected the Ray70 and Ray430 to the same hailer horn.

Recent software updates added support for the new 4-digit channels. More information on this subject may be found here.

RE: Ray 70 audio
I sent the radio in, Notification #30358731. Main assembly was changed out and returned back. Works fine. Do not know what caused the failure and I am trying to find out whether it is ok to share a speaker with Ray430 in a parallel connection.

RE: Ray 70 audio
olegreg,

The speakers used by the Ray70 should not additionally be connected to any other device(s) which are capable of driving speakers.
