Need some help with this extension, I thought it would be just plug to plug, but it also has power wires on it....help me out guys..

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum rchapman,

When a Dragonfly extension cable is used, the power leads of the Dragonfly power/transducer cable will not be used. Instead, the power leads found on the Dragonfly extension cable will be used.
