[CA11] ST60 wind vane issue
Hello,

I have a faulty ST60 wind transducer. I took it apart and powered the PCB with a lab power (8V between red and screen wires). When probing directional signals (blue & green) with an oscilloscope, they appear to output 2-6V sin & cosine which I believe is correct. However, anemometer signal (yellow) outputs approx 350mV pulses while I believe the pulse amplitude should be 5V. Can you please confirm that this is faulty behaviour. If so, please advice on remedy.

Many thanks,

Harri

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Harri,

It indeed appears as thought the masthead wind transducer has suffered a failure. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject and recommendations to address the failure.
