RE: [DG] p79/in hull transducer to Axiom Pro
Hi Pau Hana,

You need the Spur cable from the NMEA2000 devicenet connector on the AXIOM PRO to STng, this cable is the A06075 Devicenet Female to STng cable 1m long or A06045 Devicenet Female to STng cable 0.4m long.

This adapter cable then connects the AXIOM PRO to the STng backbone

Thanks
Derek

A new question- is there a long version (3 to 5 meters) of the A80496 available?

Hi Pete,

There is no longer version of adapter cable available, there is a 5m transducer extension cable (E66010) available
Thanks

RE: [DG] p79/in hull transducer to Axiom Pro
Derek,

About to install an Axiom Pro 9 S and was advised to purchase a P79 DSM E66008 transducer with an A80489 adapter cable. Before I do the install, is this the right combo?

Thanks,

Scott

RE: [DG] p79/in hull transducer to Axiom Pro
Hi Scott,

This information is incorrect, the PRO S versions can only connect to Chirp style transducers - the P79 is not a chirp Transducer.

If you want to use the P79, then you will need the PRO RVX variants of the display, then you will need the A80496 adapter cable to connect the p79 (E66008) to the 11 port on the back of the PRO RVX unit.

Regards
Derek
