[DG11] RNS upgrade and switch on a new pc
Hello.
I run RNS on my previous laptop with Windows 7, but now I'm going to transfer Windows 10 to a new computer due to the changing conditions at my workplace in an online store. I installed 6.2 on CD, but I encountered a few problems

1. I do not know how to find the serial number or registration or anything else in the version that I have on the old computer. When I did it, exactly what should I do to send RNS to my new computer?

2. I followed the instructions to use the 10.0.0.x address space using the 255.0.0.0 subnet mask without success. Letting RNS "solve" the problem by changing the IP address did not work as well.

RE: [DG11] RNS upgrade and switch on a new pc
HI austin_wardy
Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunatelt RNS does not run on Windows 10. RNS is no longer sold and we only tested / supported its use thru Windows 7 (although Windows 8 also seemed to work as well).

We recommend using a used Win 7 PC or dedicate an Win 7 PC to RayTech and find another computer for all other PC activities.

This link here gives further detail, as will this link here too

The original license key (serial number) from the settings->license feature of the PC on which was previously installed. We can generate no new license keys.

With Current Raymarine products, we advocate Voyage planner, which will run on Windows 10 click here

regards
Derek
