Hello John,

Miracast is a standard designed by the Wifi Alliance (https://www.wi-fi.org/discover-wi-fi/miracast, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracast and is inherently Wifi and Wifi-Direct (peer-to-peer) only. Most home streaming actually uses either Google Cast or Apple Airplay, both of which are different, incompatible, proprietary protocols.
