RE: [CA11] C80 MFD and RS130
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Chris,

Q1. My question about getting this set up is, does that RS130 have to be networked through the Seatalk 1 to Seatalkng converter kit, E22158?
A1. Yes. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Please additionally note that the Raystar 130 GPS Sensor has been succeeded by the Raystar 150 GPS Sensor, both of which would be interfaced to a C-Series Classic MFD in the same manner.

Q2. Or can I network this through a Seatalkng 5-way connector, CWRE-33175, with a Seatalk 2 to Seatalkng adapter cable, A06048, plugged into the back of my C80 MFD?
A2. Negative. The software of C-Series Classic MFDs is not designed to support SeaTalkng communications.
