[CA11] N2K PGN 127508 to LH3 network (Axiom Pro, GS165)
Good morning,

I installed a Chetco SeaGauge G2 for NMEA engine integration. The vessel has Cat 3208TA (375hp) mechanical diesels.

We got most engine info to display, but the volts info is blank. I reached out to Chetco, and confirmed the SeaGauge G2 is transmitting the standard N2K PGN 127508 for battery system info.

Research says that the Axiom can only read PGN 12750 (which I cannot find on the NMEA PGN list). Please advise how to get the Axiom to read PGN127508.

Thanks!

Pete

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Pete,

LH3 software is indeed designed to report battery voltage based on PGN 12750. This data is displayed in the Battery Voltage, Battery Current, and Battery Temp. data items. In such situations, a NMEA 2000 analyzer (ex. Actisense NGT-1 w/PC running NMEA Reader software, etc.) would be interfaced as a spur to the system's powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. If such an analyzer was interfaced to the system, I suspect that you would find that the Instance ID(s) are either not consistent with the FAQ found here, or that PGN 127508 is not present or not being populated.
