[CA11] St5000+ Heading alignment
My 5000+ was working effectively holding course but I noticed a difference in the heading alignment compared to my compass. I decided to recalibrate. I ended up with a deviation correction of 4deg but have issues with heading alignment

When I completed the alignment process the heading entered remains ‘frozen’ on the display. No matter whay heading I am on the display heading remains constant. Obviously the auto pilot does not hold course inder these conditions

Any help would be greatly appreciated

RE: [CA11] St5000+ Heading alignment
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Geoff,

I suspect that there may be an issue with the autopilot's fluxgate compass. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing how to test the autopilot's fluxgate compass.
