[CA11] SeaTalkng, SeaTalk and NMEA2000 in same system
The SeaTalkng reference manual states:
"Limitations when SeaTalk(1) products are connected If SeaTalkng and SeaTalk(1) products are used together, do NOT connect an NMEA2000 backbone, as this product combination could compromise the integrity of the NMEA2000 system." This seems to mean that a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter can't be in the same backbone as a spur to an NMEA2000 device? Can you explain that further? What happens to the NMEA2000 system in that configuration? |
