[CA11] more than one p70S Control head ?
Hi !

I'm installing the EV200 linear (Acu 200 control unit, linear electrical mechanical drive, EV sensor core compass and a rudder angle sensor). I wonder if it works to have two separate p70s for one autopilot system? is it just to plug another one into the network and be able to control the system from two separate physical locations?

Thank you for your input

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Peter,

It is indeed possible to do as you have suggested and this practice is commonly encountered in vessels having two steering stations from which one desires to steer the vessel. The additional autopilot control head(s) need simply be interfaced to an unoccupied spur socket within the powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone.
