[DG11] Uploading Navionics Sonar Logs
Hi, I’m using an axiom 7 with the most up to date software. When I put my sd card into my computer and try to upload via the navionics chart installer it says that the sonar logs are corrupted. Has anyone seen this before?

I’ve hit a bit of a brick wall with navionics support with no reply.

Hi Garethmoore3

Thankyou for your enquiry.

We have not received these reports before, so cannot comment on the root cause, in the first instance we suggest returning the chart card to Navionics for their investigation. Do you use the Sonar charts? If not, turn off SONAR LOGGING in the DEPTHS menu in the Chart application.

Thanks
Derek

RE: [DG11] Uploading Navionics Sonar Logs
Thanks for reply Derek. Yeah the sonar logging is good for the area i'm in, so would like to keep using it.

I had read on other threads issues with taking the SD card in and out and if i'm honest I wouldn't have used the eject button in the past. The last time i did use it the log seemed to have uploaded.

I wonder if this might have effected it?

Navionics used to send an automated email when a log was uploaded as-well as being able to see your logs but have stopped which isn't helping my problem.

Hi Gareth,

OK, you should use the eject card function to be sure to load the log correctly, when removing the chart card.

Regards

Derek

Thanks for the reply, yeah using the eject button seems to have solved this!

Wish Navionics had came up with a simple fix like this!!!
