Hi Derek,

All the best wishes to you and your team in 2019!

Have you got any more detailed scheduling information on these sailing tools yet?

Or some preleminary specs?

Best Regards,
Cees

RE: [DG11] Sailing tools on Axiom
Derek: Glad to hear sailing tools will be available soon! I bought my Axiom Pro in March 2018 expecting them to be available last year; and will be extremetly disappointed if they are still not available this year. Thanks.

RE: [DG11] Sailing tools on Axiom
Derek,

I have been following the Axiom product now for about a year. I am in the process of a complete electronics retrofit for a cruising sailboat to NMEA2K. My budget is about 8k. I am at a crossroads between Zeus3 and Axiom. The Defender Warehouse sale is approaching very soon. I am sure you are aware this is a major event and decision point for anyone upgrading. Lacking a definitive (let's say published Raymarine website announcement, reported by Panbo and others) in the next few weeks, I am going to have to choose B&G. I just don't have the confidence that the Axiom product is going to meet sailors needs anytime soon. If there is any definitive information you can provide, I would sure like to hear it. Thank you.

Hi TimW

AT this time, the launch of a software update with Sailing features is planned for the next version of software due in Q2, version 3.9,

I would also suggest you review this thread regarding the specific features included in updates.

Regards
Derek

The sailing features are important to Raymarine and there is every intention of including them before next season starts. At this time the GPM (Global Product Manager) is advising us that the Sailing features will be launched at the end of Q1 2019.

We will update as we get closer to launch

Derek,

It is now August. Any update on the release? My C120w has failed. I need to replace it and am trying to decide on B&G or Raymarine.

Thanks for your response.
