[CA11] Error Message
I have the following on a NMEA2000 network:
ITC 5
ES128 master with Chirp sounder directly connected/ES127 slave w/latest update
EV 100 autopilot
I70s
Merc Marine Gateway
Fusion MA770

Everything was working fine, with the exception of the occasional wrong water temp on the I70s, until the other day. My I70s will not give depth or temp. When I try to select data sources on either the I70s or ES128 either won’t see the ITC5. When I try to see data sources on my MFD I get the following message...
The following devices are preventing data source selection
ISO (57 6f 6d e7 20 be a0 c0) CAN (105)
Not sure what I’ve done wrong or where to turn.

RE: [CA11] Error Message
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Sadey,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As this problem may indicate that one of the Raymarine products features older software, it is recommended that all Raymarine products be updated with the latest available Raymarine product software updates. Should the problem persist, then the blocking device may be determined by unplugging devices one by one from the backbone (recommend unplugging third party products first) and then testing the MFD's Data Sources feature. Should the blocking device be determined to be a Raymarine product and it be operating with the latest available software update, then it would be recommended that the Raymarine product be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

As indicated within the referenced FAQ, after temporarily disconnecting the blocking device from the system and performing the Data Sources selection, then the blocking device may be plugged back into the system.
