[CA11] Annoying power supply box message
Is there anyway to get rid of the messge box that sometimes appears on my A128? Its a power supply voltage message. I have checked voltage and everything is decent. It still does it with new batteries. I know there can be some voltage sag here and there, but the finders work allday long even after this notice appears. All i want to ask is if there is a way to get rid of the annoying box that take up a good portion of the screen.

RE: [CA11] Annoying power supply box message
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum John,

The reported symptom may be indicative of a momentary surge within the power distribution system or a problem within the MFD's circuitry itself. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing momentary surges within the power distribution system. One may easily determine whether this condition exists onboard by switching all electrical circuits, engines, generators, etc. OFF except for the MFD and then testing for the reported symptom. If the problem cannot be duplicated under such conditions, then it would be recommended that power conditioning be installed for the circuit supplying power the MFD. However, should the problem persist when tested in the manner specified above, then it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
