Unable to Select Data Sources with J2K100
I installed a Maretron J2K100 J1939 to NMEA 2000 gateway for use with my generator. I connected it to the SeaTalk(ng) network via the raymarine SeaTalk(ng) to NMEA2000 adapter. The device functions properly on the network, however when connected, all of the Raymarine devices (p70r, e127, i70) are unable to select data source. It returns a message stating that it was unable to select data source and to refer to the manual.

When I unplug the J2K100 the problem goes away. Any idea what the issue could be?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum jeokeefe,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As you have determined, the blocking device may be temporarily disconnected from the backbone to then permit data source selection to be performed.
