1. Is there any reason at all to use a CP470 with an Axiom Pro?

2. Is the sonar in the Axiom Pro just as good as the CP470?

3. Would using the CP470 with the Pro give me any better performance?

Please click here to view a thread in which I had previously addressed comparisons of the fishfinder performance of an external fishfinder sounder module to a MFD having similar internal fishfinder sounder circuitry. For those seeking maximum high power CHIRP sonar performance, a RVX1000, CP470, or CP570 external fishfinder sounder module would be recommended.
