Hi,
I have a Standard Horizon GX2200 which outputs AIS data via nmea0183 but also has its own AIS output wires.. This was working on my E90W as the e90w has NMEA0183 input so I was connecting NMEA out (as I was using the GPS data to the E90W. I know the Axiom doesnt have NMEA0183 so I purchased the NMEA0183 to SeatalkNG kit. The cable has a red and yellow wire on it. My GX2200 has AIS output wires, NMEA0183 Output Wires and NMEA0183 Input wires.
Should I be connecting to the AIS output wires, the NMEA output wires and if so, which goes to + and - and what baud rate should be set on the GX2200 for the Axiom to receive the AIS data?
Thanks
