I have an older E80 display with SeaTalk and am looking at adding the ST60+ Wind instrument to it.

Will the ST60+ show true wind on its display?

Will true wind appear in the chartplotter?

Is there a newer wind instrument that would also work with the E80?

When properly interfaced via a powered SeaTalk bus to the MFD, the ST60 Wind instrument will support displaying True Wind if the system features sensors supporting the data items specified within the FAQ found here.
