Full Version: [CA11] A78 mfd screen is not working

This is the second year of this display, and when i turned it on for the first time, it has hundreds of vertical lines. It still works to send information to my other display. So i am able to wiev the transducer info, and the maps. I am able to power off, but can’t read what i am doing. I just know it is the same as the other. Is this something that can be repaired? How do i go about it?

I'm sorry to learn of the problem reported with your a78 MFD's screen. I have had three a-Series MFDs, including an a78 MFD, onboard my boat for the last four years ... love them. The symptoms provide appear to be associated with a failure within the MFD's circuitry. These MFDs may indeed be repaired and it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
