I have a A65 chartplotter whose GPS transducer seems to have failed
Will the RS150 transducer work the A65 and does the connecting wire fit the multi pin socket on the A65.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Satco,

As these products are commonly confused please indicate whether you own the A65 (note the upper case letter "A") Chartplotter or Chartplotter/Fishfinder shown below or

whether you own the a65 (note the lower case letter "a") Multifunction Display shown below.

It is the chartplotter only
Satco,

Unfortunately, the A60/A65 products were retired quite some time ago. Parts and service are no longer available for these products. Should an A60/A65 Chartplotter or A60/A65 Chartplotter/Fishfinder's original GPS sensor have failed, then it would be recommended that it be replaced with a TackTick T908 GPS Sensor. This GPS sensor must be connected to a switched 12VDC power circuit and spliced the MFD NMEA 0183 Cable which was included within the package of each A60/A65 (NOTE: these cables are no longer available). The following connections would be made:
- TackTick power (red) lead to switched +12VDC circuit
- TackTick ground (screen) lead to -12VDC to the MFD NMEA 0183 Cable's NMEA Input- (green) lead and its NMEA 0183 Output- (brown) lead
- TackTick NMEA 0183 Output+ (green) lead to MFD NMEA 0183 Cable NMEA 0183 Input+ (white) lead
- TackTick NMEA 0183 Input+ (brown) lead to MFD NMEA 0183 Cable NMEA 0183 Input+ (yellow) lead
Thank you for this - it would seem prudent to buy a new chartplotter!!
You're welcome.
