will the st70 display its current software version? looks like i need v3.04
when i upgraded the software on the e125 recently, it was on the bench, st70 not connected. do i need to re-install software with st70 in network?
if i am able to upgrade st70 saftware can i swap st70 into my second network with A57D as master mfd? (i own 2 st70s)
i guessing updating the st70 in the A57D network is more difficult the the e125 network.
does pod need software upgrade?
really appreciate your help with my older equipment

A1. Yes. The currently installed version of software may be accessed within the ST70 MFID's diagnostics feature.

A2. The ST70 MFID and a MFD supporting updates must each be interfaced as a spur to common powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone to receive a software update. There should be no need to update the e125 MFDs software again.

A3. Yes.
Q4. i guessing updating the st70 in the A57D network is more difficult the the e125 network.
A4. Most will consider it easier to update a ST70 instrument via an e125. However, the software update may be accomplished via either MFD.
Q5. does pod need software upgrade?
A5. Raymarine has released no end user installable software for ST290/ST70 pods.
